How you can help

Many of you have been on my writing journey from the beginning. Others joined me along the way. All of you have been incredibly supportive and encouraged me through letters you have written telling me how my books touched and even changed your lives.

My writing ministry has continued to grow since the release of my first book. All my books deal with social issues facing Christians today. For example, in The Winds of Sonoma the heroine, a New York lawyer, must decide if she should go along with her firm and sanction the exploitation of illegal immigrants or stand against injustice. My second novel, In the Shade of the Jacaranda, tackled abortion and the decision to have a child that may be born with disabilities.  The Fragrance of Roses brought attention to the lack of minority donors to blood banks and bone marrow registries, and the need to give blood to those organizations. My last release, As I Have Loved You, portrayed the struggles of single motherhood and how love truly triumphs over all things . . . even death.

I most recently have written about the need to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. I think Christ’s words about this are particularly relevant today in the light of the rise of Islam in America. My first non-fiction book is now available, Through the Eyes of Christ: How to Lead Muslims into the Kingdom of God. It gives step-by-step instructions about how you really can love your enemies. It will change both your lives.

I am passionate about a number of causes, including helping in very concrete ways the persecuted Christians in the Middle East, including parts of Africa. I do this through various resources, including my real estate business. And, if you feel a leading, there is a way you can help me.

I work for a company with a nationwide referral network. I am able to connect anyone, anywhere in the U.S. to a Realtor. Recently a friend’s daughter in Portland needed to sell her townhouse. I set her up with a Realtor there. The sale was made in six weeks. A reader wrote to me and I learned she wanted to sell her farm in Omaha. I connected her to a Realtor there and her home was sold. Another reader wanted to buy a property in Las Vegas for her son attending college there. I connected her to a Realtor. I can do the same for any of you or any of your friends or acquaintances.

Just drop me an e-mail giving me the contact information for the person who wants to buy or sell. I will call them and find out exactly what they need. I then screen top agents in their area and set up a referral to one or two agents. This is extremely valuable to people who don’t know a Realtor. When the sale is completed my company and I receive a referral fee. These referral fees really help support my ministry.

If you know anyone who is thinking of buying or selling, please tell them about this service and ask if they’d like me to help them find an agent. A portion of that referral money goes to further God’s eternal purpose. For those who feel led to help in this way, I will let you know how the money was used. Recently, one contribution went to a persecuted Christian in North Africa. If you would like to help support this ministry or get more details, just let me know here.
